Our story

On the corner of 3rd Street since 1998

My wife and I opened this shop in 1998 with two machines and one sewing machine. There are more machines now, but pressing is still done by hand and every button is sewn by us.

In 2019 we replaced petroleum solvents with wet cleaning and silicone-based solvent. No chemical smell on your clothes, and safe for children's clothing and sensitive skin.

Half our customers have been coming for more than ten years. We remember names and preferences, down to how much starch.

Questions

How long does it take?
In by 10 AM, ready next day by 5 PM. Same-day is available before 9 AM for 50 percent extra.
What's different about eco cleaning?
No petroleum solvent, so no smell and less wear on fibers. Most garments are wet-cleaned; delicate fabrics get silicone solvent.
Where do you pick up and deliver?
Koreatown and Hancock Park. Free over $30, otherwise $5.
What if a stain won't come out?
Tell us what caused the stain at drop-off and the odds go way up. If we can't remove it, you don't pay for that item.
What happens to clothes I forget?
Held for ninety days. After that we call you, then donate.
