About Mill & Butter
What a bakery's daughter brought back from Paris
I grew up in a Koreatown bakery, wrapping red bean buns in my parents' shop after school. After three years training in pastry in Paris, I opened Mill & Butter in 2019.
Our dough proofs cold for three days. French butter, California flour, strawberries from an Oxnard farm every week. We make twelve cakes a day and no more.
Mornings are neighbors with coffee. Weekends are birthday cakes going out the door. Those two pictures are the bakery we wanted to be.

Questions
How far ahead should I order a cake?
Two days ahead by phone. Same-day, you're welcome to any cake in the case.
Parking?
One hour free in the garage under the building. Enter from Wilton Place.
When are bakes fresh?
Two bakes a day, 7 AM and 2 PM.
Do you deliver?
Pastries and coffee through Uber Eats. Cakes are pickup only, they travel badly.
Catering or large orders?
Office breakfast boxes and event pastries with three days' notice.
Hours
Wilshire at Wilton. One hour free in the garage under the building.
